A few days ago I heard that John Brady Kiesling, a career foreign service employee and political counselor in Athens, Greece, had resigned because of his opposisition to a U.S. lead war against Iraq. Today I read his letter to Secretary of State Colin Powell. This is an extremely eloquent arguement against a war in Iraq and against the Bush administration's general foreign policy.
